Job Description:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Synergy Medical Education Alliance, a Michigan State University Affiliated Residency Program, located in Saginaw, Michigan is seeking a full time Laborist to join its faculty. The Ob/Gyn program is accredited for 12 residents, and has a full complement of medical students doing their core Ob/Gyn clinical
rotation in the department.
Active candidacy for or certification by the American Board of
Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the desire to work full time as a
Laborist at night and weekends covering the residency program are required. Duties will include nighttime coverage of the Labor and Delivery Suite for the resident service, as well as Emergency Room coverage for the resident service. Excellent clinical skills, teaching effectiveness, and willingness to work with the residents and medical students is expected. Applicants must be eligible for medical licensure in Michigan.
